Indy Film Fest is proud to partner with Downtown Indy, Inc. for our Sunset Cinema on the Canal series! Everyone is invited to watch FREE outdoor movies on the Canal in Downtown Indianapolis. A large screen will be located on the north end of the Canal near the Admiral Spruance Basin (11th Street). Free seating is available on the grassy areas surrounding the canal basin. Movie-goers are invited to bring blankets, chairs, and picnics to enjoy during the movies. In addition, food and soft drinks will be available to purchase near Canal 337 by Thomas Caterers. Additionally, Bike Indianapolis will provide safe, secure bike parking during the movie, so save money on parking and ride your bike.
The fun begins at 7PM. Movies will start after dusk (around 9PM).

Looking for a one-of-a-kind, in-water experience?

Movie fans age 21 can purchase a VIP In-Water Admission. For $20, you’ll receive access to the canal (you will get wet!), an inner tube to float in (and keep), and a Sun King beer to enjoy during the movie. Inner tubes, provided by 9 on Canal Apartments, are limited. Pre-registration is required.
