About the Indy Film Fest
Founded in 2004 as the Indianapolis International Film Festival, our all-volunteer organization now called the Indy Film Fest is dedicated to creating a shared experience around film in Indianapolis. Our annual festival features approximately 80 features and shorts from around the world.
Our 23rd festival is April 22-26, 2026 at the Kan-Kan Cinema, Dance Kaleidoscope, and Online. We will screen films April 22-26 in-person at the Kan-Kan Cinema and Dance Kaleidoscope and we will return to the Kan-Kan for screenings of our award-winners on May 2-3. Virtual availability of most of our films will take place from April 27 through May 3.
