Thank you for your interest in submitting your film to the Indy Film Fest! Our mission is to create a shared experience around film by presenting movies that entertain, challenge and expand perspectives in Indianapolis and beyond. We accept shorts and features, narratives and documentaries, both from around the world and around the corner. Each year we award nine juried prizes including special recognition for films with Indiana ties, plus our coveted audience awards. Accepted filmmakers get submission waivers for all future editions of the Indy Film Fest and will receive an Industry Pass to attend the next three Indy Film Fests!
New since 2019: Films with especially strong Indiana ties can submit for only $5! If you’re an alumni filmmaker of the Indy Film Fest or Indianapolis International Film Festival, please contact us at submissions@indyfilmfest.org for your waiver code! Since submission of a film constitutes acceptance of the Entry Rules & Regulations (by filmmakers and their agents), please review the rules and regulations on the submission platform carefully.
