Indianapolis International Film Festival
to
Announce 2005 Line-Up
The director of the Indianapolis International Film Festival will announce the line-up for the 2005 Festival at a press conference on March 10, 2005. This year's line-up includes films featuring Casey Affleck, Steve Buscemi, former President Jimmy Carter, Seymour Cassel, Kevin Corrigan, Billy Crystal, Michael Douglas, Lukas Haas, Dennis Hopper, Ron Howard, Norman Jewison, David Kelly, John Leguizamo, George Lucas, Alfred Molina, Paul Newman, Dominique Pinon, Mary Kay Place, Sidney Poitier, Julia Roberts, Martin Sheen, and Liv Tyler. The line-up includes two features that won prestigious awards at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, and 2 major award-winners from the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
The Festival will take place April 21-24, 2005. All films will screen at Hollywood Bar & Filmworks.
Supporters of the 2005 Indianapolis International Film Festival include, The Indiana Film Commission, McSweeney's Publishing, Borders, and the Indiana Film Society. Media sponsors include Indy Men's Magazine, NUVO, and 92.3 FM – WTTS.
Members of the public are welcome. Soda, coffee, and popcorn will be provided. We will also preview one of the short films selected for the festival.
