In the tradition of ESPN's "The Season", Between the White Lines spends an entire season with an athletic team - in this case the UCLA women's softball team, and the season is their 2000 attempt to defend their national title. Interviews combine with game footage to give the audience a "you are there" feel. Ultimately, viewers are left with a sense of knowing these dedicated young women, and will find themselves rooting for their success.
Between the White Lines will have its World Premiere at the Indianapolis International Film Festival.
