Help support our mission
Love loving movies all year long?
12 months a year, the Indy Film Fest champions movies that entertain, challenge, and expand our perspectives. That’s what we were born to do. And our growing network of friends and followers are stepping up and coming out to join us for all the filmy fun.
With six year-round programs geared to movie lovers of all ages, and a robust 10-day festival in July, there’s always something to see at the Indy Film Fest. Come out and join the shenanigans at any (or all) of our special events and screenings. We think you’ll agree, we were meant to be together.
Help support our mission so we can continue to do what we love most: creating shared, and meaningful, experiences around film.

NOW SCREENING SUBMISSIONS
2015 Festival Submissions are open!
The Indy Film Fest has opened submissions for the 12th Annual Indy Film Fest, to be held July 16 – 25, 2015. The Festival welcomes submissions of feature-length and short films, in the following four categories:
- American Spectrum films are defined as narrative films primarily produced in the United States, particularly those films without any strong ties to Indiana.
- Hoosier Lens films are defined as narrative or documentary films with strong production ties to Indiana. This includes major cast or crew ties to the state (born, raised, attended school in state), and/or a significant portion of the film was shot and/or produced in Indiana.
- World Cinema films are defined as narrative films originating from any country outside of the United States.
- Matter of Fact films are defined as documentary films, regardless of country of origin. Documentaries with significant Indiana ties may submit in the Hoosier Lens category if desired.
Our screening committee looks forward to seeing what you’ve been up to. Submissions are open through April.
